- Do you teach in UK time zones?
- Yes. Your class time is set in UK time and stays in UK time, including across the March and October clock changes. Tutors are based several hours ahead, which is why after-school and early-evening slots are genuinely available rather than the last thing left.
- How much do online Qur'an classes cost in the UK?
- Pricing is a monthly subscription based on classes per week, quoted in pounds rather than converted from dollars at checkout. Current prices are shown below and on the fees page. The first class is free and no card is taken to book it.
- Is this a good alternative to weekend madrasah?
- For many families it replaces it, and for others it runs alongside. The difference is one-to-one attention: in a class of twenty a teacher cannot hear one child's makhraj, and pronunciation errors set early are slow to undo later.
- Are your tutors DBS checked?
- No — our tutors live and work in Pakistan, and DBS is a UK-domestic scheme that does not extend to them. We would rather say that plainly than imply a check we do not hold. What is true: every tutor is a woman, every class is one-to-one with no other students present, and you receive a WhatsApp message after every single class telling you what was covered.
- Can my child study for a UK Islamic studies qualification?
- Not through us. We teach Qur'an — Qaida, Nazra, Hifz, Tajweed and Qur'anic Arabic — rather than preparing students for a British examined syllabus.
